ARES Footwear Product Care
A Guide To ARES Footwear Product Care:
ARES FOOTWEAR are made from carefully selected sourced and raw materials, with the utmost attention to detail and craftmanship. The Product Care Guide informs you on how to prolong the life of all ARES FOOTWEAR and maintain their overall quality and appearance over time.
How do i take care of my ARES FOOTWEAR:
- Please do not place ARES leather, nubuck and textile footwear in the washing machine or submerge them in water and or other solutions. Doing so will damage their shape, appearance, and quality.
We recommend applying a protector spray on your footwear before the first wear and occasionally topping up as per the instructions on the packaging.
For cleaning tips, follow the steps below:
-
- Use masking tape to gently lift off any excess dirt and dust. Avoid using sellotape, scotch tape or similar as these can leave a glue residue on your footwear. Do not place masking tape over printed branding or treatments as this could damage those areas.
-
- To clean textile, use a soft brush on any dust or dry dirt. A slightly damp cloth can be used to clean any excess dirt that’s left behind. Minimize staining with a soft toothbrush and warm soapy water (never use chlorine or strong detergents).
-
- Always clean leather and textile parts separately. Wetting them at the same time can cause the color to bleed from one area into another.
Start by slowly dampening the area you’re cleaning first and wetting the cloth as needed, taking close care. it's worth noting that it's difficult to remove excess water if your footwear becomes too wet.

-
- Once you’ve finished cleaning your ARES FOOTWEAR, let your shoes air-dry at room temperature and apply a protector spray again.
-
- Please don't force dry your ARES FOOTWEAR near a radiator or electric heater.
